“Gratitude is not only the greatest of virtues, but the parent of all others.” ― Marcus Tullius Cicero
What is one thing today that makes you feel really grateful? Gratitude is a simple, yet profound practice, that we can use as a powerful tool for bettering our lives. The power of gratitude is in consciously acknowledging and appreciating the positive aspects of our lives, in shifting our focus to feeling good about everything we do have or experience. Gratitude is a tool, and just like the breath, is always available for us! Moreover, gratitude reduces stress and anxiety while boosting our mood. When expressed openly, it strengthens our relationships, fostering deeper connections with our loved ones. Studies even show that gratitude also improves our physical health: by lowering blood pressure and improving sleep quality. So, what are you grateful for? It’s okay if you need some time to think about it! I will go first and fully express my gratitude around realizing this www.highonyoga9.com project!
This new beginning starts with a simple “Thank you”. It’s the only thing that makes sense when starting a new chapter of the work that I find so meaningful: bringing positive transformation. Transforming this project from a blurry vision to reality took about 9 months. I wanted to move forward with it since 2021, however, my sports trading and management career, took me on an exciting (and challenging) journey around the globe. I cherish that experience. Had that not delayed the realization of this project, I wouldn’t have learned fundamental truths about building a platform from scratch and creating a great value–centered offering.
Everything that happened in the last year taught me important lessons. It created a positive change within, a new perspective. And it became possible, because I consistently observed myself — how I think, how I respond, how I act and react. It helped me face my shortcomings and then to approach myself in a more curious and authentic way. And I remembered how important is to feel the power of gratitude! The observation of my often–confused self led me many times to the same place — or the same phrase, to be exact — Thank you! These two words get me the closest in my desire to express how I feel about launching this website — our website — and offering such value to the world. The world that, I believe, needs more teachers and healers, not more economy, marketing or PR specialists (no offense, I have a degree in Economics!).
How about you? I invite you to pause, observe yourself. Is there anything that comes up now — that makes you feel the power of gratitude? Good. It doesn’t matter if the answer is yes or no. It is the self observation that matters.
HighOnYoga9 is about cultivating a sanctuary, space where you are supported and assisted in the process of getting better, stronger, more resilient — physically, mentally, spiritually. Space, where we build a rock-solid foundation for the future. Where you are seen, heard, and patiently guided towards growth. This is where our journeys intersect and we make the most of it. That’s the fun part! So, thank you for being part of this! HighOnYoga9 is also about joining powers — the power of connection in the presence of emotional and physical safety, the power of simplicity, the power of community. Not just for our generation but for those that are still young. Promising, isn’t it? Especially in our war-torn world that does not exactly seem to be moving in the direction that most of us would like to…
Thank you — to my family and friends — for pushing me to take responsibility and teach, and lead — and for trusting me with your bodies and minds. Thank you — to the amazing professionals that supported me in the process of healing my body, mind, and spirit! With your guidance I embraced the parts of myself that needed healing. I don’t dare to say I am completely healed — I honestly think no one is at full 100%. But I can say I am grateful — and proud of myself for everything I have done to accept and overcome the challenges that life playfully, but assertively, put on my plate. You should be too! And share and celebrate these challenges, as an integral part of life! It wasn’t always graceful but I cherish the journey, as I stand here in humility and deep appreciation, mixed with curiosity, excitement, fear.
